3D Printing Filaments
Filaments represent the material for 3D printing, just as paper is used for “regular” printing. Our advantage is that we provide original filaments from FlashForge and MakerBot manufacturers, as well as the Winkle and Polymaker brands, which specialize exclusively in producing filaments. We believe it is important that, in addition to a high-quality printer, you also get the best and most compatible filament or material, as this ensures the best possible experience.
A WIDE RANGE OF FILAMENTS FOR A VARIETY OF PROJECTS
To help you find the right filament for your project, we have prepared an overview of our wide range of 3D printing filaments. There are many different types, each with its own characteristics. For specific applications across different projects, it is important to understand these properties well in order to choose the most suitable type. Of course, we also offer a variety of colors, so you can easily select shades according to your preference.
PLA FILAMENTS
Wide and easy usability. PLA (polylactic acid) is a biodegradable material derived from renewable and natural resources, making it environmentally friendly. It is a highly versatile filament that is easy to 3D print with. It is mostly used for prototyping, which we have recently also done ourselves.
ABS FILAMENTS
For withstanding high temperatures, ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), which belongs to the more rigid and strong filaments, is the most suitable. It is intended for professional use, mainly for producing prototypes that must withstand higher temperatures. The final products are therefore very durable and resistant.
PETG FILAMENTS
Hybrid properties of PLA and ABS plastics. PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) offers excellent properties as it combines the characteristics of both PLA and ABS materials. This means it is tough, strong, durable, and resistant to higher temperatures (up to 80°C), while also being easy to 3D print with. It is an ideal choice for models that require good strength and toughness.
ASA FILAMENTS
Its main advantage is resistance to UV light. ASA filaments are primarily designed for professional use and intended for 3D printers that have difficulty printing with ABS plastic, as printing speeds are lower here. Just like ABS, it is most often used for producing prototypes that must withstand higher temperatures.
SILK FILAMENTS
Do you want a product with a special appearance? SILK filaments are popular mainly due to their glossy finish. With SILK filament, 3D printing can give the final product shine and luster, making it aesthetically appealing.
WOOD FILAMENTS
For a natural look of products, we also offer wood filament. With it, you can print models that resemble wooden products in appearance, and they also have a wood-like scent. The main components are PLA plastic and wood.
NYLON FILAMENTS
A filament with many advantages. Nylon (PA) is an industrial nylon filament with excellent chemical (high resistance to solvents), mechanical (durability and impact resistance), and flexible (elongation before breaking) properties. It is used for 3D printing technical products.
CARBON FIBER FILAMENTS
If weight is a key factor, we also offer filaments with carbon fibers. Carbon fiber filaments are lighter than others due to the carbon fibers, and depending on the base plastic, they vary in their properties. What they all have in common is lower weight, making them suitable for products where weight is a critical factor. We have also had such a case at 3WAY.
FLEXIBLE FILAMENTS
Elasticity allows the product to flex slightly without the risk of parts breaking off. In many cases, this property of flexible filaments is essential, which is why many customers also choose this type.
…OF COURSE, TO CREATE, WE ALSO NEED A 3D PRINTER:
