The software has an automated system for calculating electrode sizes. The raw electrode material can be selected from a library of standard dimensions, or automatic sizing can be set to adjust the size according to the eroded area.
The programme already includes standard handles from various manufacturers such as Erowa, Hirschmann, System 3R, but you can also add your own handles.
Eroding surfaces can be selected based on surface recognition, automatic surface identification or through contours that you draw. You can also make the raw electrode yourself and cut it from the model.
The command to make ribs comes in especially handy when we have a lot of ribs. Based on the flat surfaces, the software automatically extends the surfaces across the model and calculates the optimum size of the raw electrode material.
The program can also generate NC code for OPS-Ingersoll Multiprog, AGIE, Charmilles, SODICK, which means that we no longer need to manually copy the positions, but just send the program to the machine, where all the necessary parameters for erosion are also transferred.
These are the basic electrode data, the starting position, the technology material and other information that is determined during electrode modelling.
