FlashForge ABS Pro is made of high quality ABS material to ensure smooth extrusion. ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), unlike PLA filament, is slightly more technical and resistant to impact and heat.

ABS filament is known for its strength, flexibility and resistance to higher temperatures. It is a strong filament with mild flexibility. 3D printed ABS plastic models can be easily sanded and machined as they are extremely strong.

ABS offers a good balance between impact strength, temperature and chemical resistance, dimensional stability, tensile strength, toughness and stiffness. ABS plastic remains hard, rigid and tough even at low or high temperatures.

ABS filament is designed for professional use, especially for prototyping applications that need to withstand higher temperatures. The final products are therefore very durable and resistant. 3D printing with ABS filament requires a heated chamber and a slightly higher extruder temperature to ensure high quality and stable 3D printing.
