The Artisan is equipped with an enclosure door detection sensor, a gyroscope and temperature sensor in the laser module, and an emergency stop button on the integrated controller. For subtractive machining and engraving, the machine works cleanly with hardwoods such as walnut and beech, dense plastics, brass, and aluminum sheet. The included Class 1 safety enclosure helps protect your workspace from fumes, dust, and optical hazards.
