Bambu Lab H2D 3D Printer – Dual Extruder and Larger 3D Printing Volume
The H2D 3D printer is the latest 3D printer from Bambu Lab, with more details set to be released on March 25th. Below, we share what we know about the 3D printer so far.
Dual Extruder of the Bambu Lab H2D Printer
The 3D printer features a dual extruder, allowing for faster printing in two colors without the need to swap filaments during printing, and preventing filament mixing. It also enables printing with two different materials simultaneously, as each nozzle has its own temperature setting. Additionally, the dual nozzles allow for printing with support materials, making the support printing process easier.
The H2D has a large 3D printing volume
The H2D printer is also reported to have a large 3D printing volume of 350 × 320 × 325 mm. This makes it ideal for use in both smaller and larger projects.
The Bambu Lab H2D 3D printer features a servo motor
On its website, Bambu Lab has hinted at moving away from the stepper motors used in previous Bambu Lab printer models, as the H2D will feature a true servo motor. This is expected to improve the accuracy of 3D printing at higher speeds.
The dual extruder, large 3D printing volume, and servo motor of the H2D push it towards the category of more professional 3D printers.
