Its advanced wireless system seamlessly integrates a wearable “tracking scanner,” a wide-band wearable laser scanner, and a video photogrammetry (VPG) module.

FreeScan Trak Nova: all-in-one system.

The Shining3D FreeScan Trak Nova stands out with its “all-in-one” design and is useful in a wide range of sectors: from civil aviation, energy, rail transport, shipping, and more. Its modular structure allows for easy switching between different operating modes suited for specific tasks. The FreeScan UE Nova tracker can also function as a handheld laser scanner, with an impressive field of view (FOV) of up to 2.6 x 2.2 meters. This significantly simplifies the process of scanning larger objects.

You never have to stop with removable batteries. The FreeScan Trak Nova allows for battery replacement, ensuring your work flows smoothly during both long and short projects.

Video Photogrammetry (VPG).

The FreeScan Trak Nova system also boasts patented video photogrammetry (VPG). With this technology, Shining3D eliminates issues such as the need for coded “markers” or identifiers. Using photogrammetry, the FreeScan Trak Nova allows for real-time marker verification simply through image capture. This ensures consistent volumetric accuracy and easier scanning of large objects. Photogrammetry works on the principle of capturing images through which the technology measures shapes, sizes, and positions of objects. In short, it uses photographs as a tool to construct 3D models from 2D images.

Everything you need is packed in a portable case made of carbon fiber. Use the FreeScan Trak Nova anywhere with ease of mobility.
